Biography

Patrick Capriola

International Education Management specialist, Patrick Capriola brings years of career experience to the industry. At present, he is located in the country of United Arab Emirates. With the official title of Senior Professional Development Specialist, Capriola is employed through the University of Florida to work in Abu Dhabi. The Lastinger Learning Center is an educational institution that belongs to the University of Florida but is situated in Abu Dhabi. Patrick Capriola arrived in July of 2013 and currently continues to spend his weekdays contributing here.

Prior to arriving in the United Arab Emirates, Capriola achieved many related academic accomplishments. As an undergraduate, he studied History at the the State University of New York at Buffalo. A few years later, Patrick relocated to Florida and attended the University of North Florida. In 2009, he completed all the necessary coursework to receive a graduate degree. Capriola earned a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration.  To further supplement his impressive qualifications, he then went on to become a Doctor of Education through the University of Florida.

Throughout his career, Patrick Capriola immersed himself in various education settings. He gained the appropriate skills necessary to be successful in his current role. Many of his other work contributions were in Florida. In the School District of Clay County, Capriola served as the Assistant Principal of two different learning facilities. From the years 2009 to 2012,  Bannerman Learning Center listed Patrick Capriola as the Assistant Principal. Shortly after, Capriola became Assistant Principal of Middleburg High School. These leadership positions were contingent upon prior experience as a social studies teacher and advisor within the same school district.

Patrick Capriola is highly experienced in education and has interests in areas that prove to uplift the children participating in each learning environment. He will continue to make an impact in Abu Dhabi and influence learning abroad. His experiences are an inspiration to students and other education professionals all over the world.
